Mayor Marsha McLean was sworn in by the City Clerk, Kevin Tonoian, at last nights City Council meeting.
Mayor McLean was joined by family and friends for the ceremony.
Outgoing Mayor Laurene Weste was presented with a memento for his service as Mayor in 2014 by City Manager Ken Striplin.
The Valencia High School Chamber Choir performed for the City Council.
